JOB SCOPE: Responsible for assisting in the installation of a minimum of 3 heating and air conditioning systems per week, totaling $1,357,200 in annual revenue, while providing excellent customer service.

JOB SUMMARY:
The HI Install Assistant assists the HI HVAC Lead Installer in installing Heating and Cooling products such as Heat Pumps, HVAC units, Gas or Oil furnaces, and Boilers. Ensures timely completion of installations in compliance with all relevant codes and maintains high customer service standards. Additionally, responsible for frontline services and repairs within assigned territory.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assists in installing new Heating and Air Conditioning systems and accessories, following safety and manufacturer guidelines.
2. Protects customer's property during installation or service.
3. Removes old equipment and cleans work areas.
4. Provides excellent customer service and promotes additional products and services.
5. Manages time effectively to ensure quality and efficiency.
6. Maintains inventory and vehicle maintenance as per company standards.
7. Promotes additional accessories and items to customers.
8. Assists in obtaining necessary permits according to local regulations.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Applicable CFC License
• Strong communication skills and ability to understand technical texts.
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in HVAC services.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including overtime, overnight, and Sundays.
• Knowledge of handling hazardous materials according to industry regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb frequently.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel long distances.
• Ability to operate in various weather conditions and demographic areas.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Strong HVAC diagnostics knowledge and experience
