Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6-12 months prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High focus on quality and safety.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Basic skill in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to read measuring devices.
• Ability to use basic, pneumatic, and power tools.
• Ability to safely operate equipment, including material movement equipment such as overhead lifting devices and forklifts.
• Ability to learn, know, and identify all parts accurately.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, if offered.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret shop floor paperwork prior to assembly.
• Read and follow drawings, SOPs, blueprints, and/or wiring diagrams.
• Assemble finished goods (mechanical and electrical) to quality standards in assigned area.
• Full operation of equipment, where assigned.
• Perform operator-level cleaning and maintenance for their assigned area.
• Conform to all safety guidelines while performing duties and operating equipment.
• Wear PPE for the position.
• Support daily and monthly production goals and targets.
• Utilize SOPs and Standard Work Instructions to complete work.
• Contribute to safety and process improvement initiatives.
• Learn SAP/ MII / MES Processes.
• Demonstrate reliability and ownership of assigned processes.
• Identify work to be performed via SAP or MII work center priority.
• Perform physical material movements.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S and lean initiatives.
• Cross-train within department.
• Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible in areas they are cross-trained in.
• Help train new production team members as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
