Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Assembler for 1st shift to perform high-level repetitive assembly of HVAC components in a manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes quality and safety, with duties including reading diagrams, following method sheets, and using measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.

The position requires basic familiarity with hand and power tools, plus the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts or hoists.

Qualifications

One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
Familiar with and able to utilize hand and power tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.
Experience operating fork trucks and hoists preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Sit or stand for the majority of a normal workday.

Responsibilities

Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts and sub-assemblies on any line within the plant, in accordance with predefined methods and sequences.
Read, understand and apply method sheets and assembly diagrams, following verbal and written directions.
Use measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality.
Load and unload units onto conveyors and carts.
Maintain tools and equipment and create work orders for repairs as needed.
