Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Tualatin, OR is seeking 20 Assemblers to help build HVAC air handling systems and portable clean rooms for hospitals, schools, data centers, and labs. This is a three-month evaluation-to-hire opportunity with strong conversion potential and excellent benefits upon conversion.

As an Assembler, you’ll assemble units using hand and power tools, read blueprints, perform quality inspections, and collaborate with teams to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand on concrete floors for 10-hour shifts while wearing steel-toed footwear.
• Comfortable using impact drivers, power drills, and caulking guns throughout the day.
• Willingness to support different departments based on production needs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assemble air handling units and related components using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Use impact drivers, power drills, and other assembly tools throughout the shift.
• Drill into steel and assist with structural assembly tasks.
• Clean and prep materials using alcohol and approved cleaning methods.
• Apply sealants with a caulking gun to help prevent water leakage.
• Safely work from a 4-foot step ladder when needed.
• Operate a scissor lift for installations in elevated work areas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to achieve production goals.

$20/hr (day)

Schedule Options

Monday - Thursday | 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM | Optional overtime on Fridays

Monday-Thursday | 5 AM-3:30 PM | Optional overtime on Fridays
