Job summary

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to travel as needed. Supervisory responsibility includes union and non-union staff under the VP of Service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree plus 5 years in HVAC management.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience and/or training in HVAC.
• Experience with installation/service of HVAC equipment and building systems is preferred.
• Experience supervising union employees is preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Service Coordinators to assign qualified technicians and ensure on-time dispatch.
• Review service tickets for follow-up, parts needs and customer communication.
• Collaborate with Supply, Coordinators, and Technicians to procure parts and materials with expedited delivery.
• Ensure documentation and startup paperwork is completed by Service Technicians on time.
• Support invoicing and contribute to departmental financial targets.
• Provide mentorship and development discussions with service technicians.
