Daikin Applied is seeking an HVAC Area Parts Store Manager! This role oversees the Philadelphia parts store and two locations in New York City (Long Island City and Brooklyn). The manager will develop and implement strategies to drive growth, revenue, and profitability across multiple store locations, and will also be involved in operational, staffing, and marketing activities.

Location:

In-office in the Philadelphia, Long Island City, and Brooklyn stores

Responsibilities include:

1. Create marketing strategies to meet revenue goals
2. Manage inventory based on market trends and customer needs
3. Research market expansion opportunities
4. Achieve revenue and profit targets, monitor margins
5. Develop operational policies
6. Recruit, train, and manage store staff
7. Coordinate with vendors for training and support
8. Provide technical support and customer service
9. Support parts and aftermarket needs
10. Set competitive pricing strategies
11. Promote aftermarket products
12. Act as Store Manager when necessary
13. Manage new store openings and relocations
14. Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent HVAC technical experience
• 8+ years HVAC or sales experience
• 4+ years management experience preferred
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Work visa sponsorship not available

Preferred:

• Retail management experience
• Leadership experience in HVAC or mechanical contracting

The annual salary ranges from $107,900 to $178,400, depending on skills and location, plus potential sales incentives.
