Job summary

Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa seeks an HVAC apprentice/maintenance technician responsible for preventative maintenance on the resort's HVAC systems. Candidates will perform filter changes, coil cleaning, and general upkeep while using hand and power tools.

You will read MSDS sheets, follow hazardous material procedures, and ensure guest comfort and safety. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent; resort maintenance experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hotel/resort maintenance experience helpful.
• Basic math for calculating filter types and maintenance parts.
• Must follow hazardous material disposal procedures and wear safety PPE.

Responsibilities

• Change HVAC filters and maintain coil cleanliness.
• Use hand and power tools to build and repair.
• Work on ladders, scaffolds, platforms and read MSDS sheets.
• Respond to guest questions professionally and maintain safety practices.
• Complete checklists and department forms in a timely manner.
