Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to read and interpret technical documents and explain concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial systems.
• Attend apprenticeship classes and achieve passing grades in classroom and hands-on training assessments.
• Learn and apply proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures on job sites.
• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork, piping, and related components; support setup, wiring, and testing of HVAC units.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance under guidance, including electrical, refrigerant, and airflow systems.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and vehicles while adhering to safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers; provide professional service.
• Participate in ongoing hands-on training to build knowledge and grow toward becoming a licensed HVAC technician.
• Work closely with experienced technicians to gain practical field experience and grow skills.
