Responsibilities

• Assist experienced HVAC technicians with residential service, maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Help troubleshoot heating and cooling systems under supervision.
• Assist with heat pumps, air conditioners, gas furnaces, thermostats, control systems, and related accessories.
• Carry tools, parts, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
• Help keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Learn proper HVAC procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
• Follow directions from lead technicians and supervisors.
• Complete job-related paperwork, notes, and tasks as directed.
• Perform additional related duties as needed.

Shogun is looking for a motivated HVAC Apprentice who wants to learn the trade, work hard, and grow into a skilled residential HVAC technician or installer. Responsibilities may include:

• Assist experienced HVAC technicians and installers with residential service, maintenance, repairs, and installations
• Help troubleshoot heating and cooling systems under supervision
• Assist with heat pumps, air conditioners, gas furnaces, thermostats, control systems, indoor air quality products, and related accessories
• Carry tools, parts, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
• Help keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Learn proper HVAC procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations
• Assist with system inspections, maintenance tasks, and equipment change-outs
• Follow directions from lead technicians, installers, managers, and supervisors
• Complete job-related paperwork, notes, and tasks as directed
• Perform additional related duties as needed

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, crawling, and working in attics, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, and other tight residential spaces. Team members must be able to lift, carry, and move tools, equipment, parts, and materials commonly used in residential HVAC work.
