Job summary

Lloyd Plumbing, Heating, Air, Electrical in Montpelier, VT, is seeking an HVAC Apprentice. Entry-level candidates are welcome, with 1–3 years preferred. You will assist lead technicians, help install and service heating and cooling equipment, and maintain tools and vehicles.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HVAC apprentice experience preferred, not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

• Courteous, respectful, and pleasant to customers.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders and work in varying conditions.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead service technician with diagnosing and repairing heating and cooling systems.
• Assist HVAC installation crews with installing new equipment.
• Help troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist HVAC installation crews with installing new equipment.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of prior experience as an HVAC Apprentice (PREFERRED, not required)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Always be courteous, respectful, and pleasant to the customer.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, work in various environments and weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license.
