Job summary

Big Impact Tech (BIT) is seeking an experienced HVA Assessor to plan, conduct, and report on High Value Asset assessments for federal systems. This role requires an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TSA clearance, working directly with system owners and government staff to keep HVA risk records current.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of cybersecurity assessment experience, is proficient in NIST SP 800-53 and related controls, and can produce clear reports for senior

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of cybersecurity assessment experience.
• Demonstrated experience assessing HVA systems under CISA and OMB M-19-03 requirements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and HVA overlay controls.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear assessment reports for senior government stakeholders.

This position works directly with system owners and government staff in HVA system meetings.
