Qualifications

• Power DB knowledge is a plus.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail.
• Strong math skills including algebra and trigonometry.
• Broad knowledge of electrical AC/DC fundamentals.
• Broad knowledge of substation components.
• Broad knowledge of control and protection systems.
• Knowledge of high-voltage field theory.
• Broad knowledge of NEC, NESC, IEEE and ANSI standards.
• Broad knowledge of civil/structural codes.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and drawings for substations.
• Teamwork and effective communication.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing on power apparatus, substations, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot and identify problems; recommend corrective actions.
• Generate technical reports detailing services and findings.
• Represent Saber Power Services professionally with clients.
• Communicate project status and resource needs to management.
• Prioritize safety; adhere to company zero-tolerance policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
