Job summary

Responsibilities include preparing design packages, electrical studies, cost estimates, and BOMs, with emphasis on IEEE/NESC standards. Travel up to 10%:**

Qualifications

• 3 years of substation engineering experience (consulting preferred).
• 5 years of substation engineering experience preferred.
• ABET-accredited degree or FE exam route completed.

Responsibilities

• Supports substation projects from conceptual phase through completion.
• Prepares and develops substation design packages (layout, protection, relaying, grounding, lighting, security).
• Develops substation calculations (insulation, station service, DC systems, cable sizing).
• Prepares design sketches, estimates, BOMs, specs, and other deliverables.
• Ensures QA/QC compliance and liaison with clients and team.
