Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks an Electrical Field Service Technician to perform acceptance and maintenance testing on medium- and high-voltage equipment across diverse environments. Level II–IV paths exist with compensation aligned to certification and field expertise; travel up to 50% is expected, and a robust benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• 2-8+ years of electrical testing experience, level dependent.
• Strong understanding of power distribution systems.
• Familiarity with NETA standards and NFPA 70E.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and pass background/drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance testing on medium- & high-voltage equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, relays.
• Execute LOTO and NFPA 70E safety procedures; conduct arc-flash/shock evaluations.
• Analyze results and generate detailed field service reports.
• Lead or support field crews; mentor junior techs as applicable.
