Job summary

Shermco is seeking transitioning Active Duty members for the DoW SkillBridge NETA Field Service Technician Trainee program in Denver. You will train alongside experienced Shermco technicians at customer sites, gaining hands-on exposure to inspection, testing, and maintenance of low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical systems.

No prior NETA certification is required. The program includes hands-on training, safety instruction, and potential movement into full-time field service technician roles

Qualifications

• Active duty service member eligible for DoD SkillBridge.
• Background in electrical systems or power generation.
• Strong commitment to safety and learning.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution systems.
• Learn safe work practices for electrical testing and field operations.
• Gain exposure to testing of transformers and switchgear.
• Document and report testing data.
• Work with Shermco technicians at customer sites.
