Job summary

Shermco Industries, Inc. in Denver, CO, is offering a DoW SkillBridge NETA Field Service Technician Trainee program for transitioning service members. Trainees will work at industrial and commercial sites, gaining hands-on exposure to low-, medium-, and high-voltage testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

This is designed to build safety, discipline, and field experience while offering potential full-time opportunities upon completion. No prior NETA certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must be Active Duty in the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program.
• Must obtain command approval before beginning the program.
• Must have sufficient time remaining on Active Duty to complete the approved SkillBridge training period.
• No prior NETA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Train alongside Shermco technicians at customer sites and gain hands-on exposure to HV testing and commissioning.
• Participate in safety and technical training (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA, CPR/First Aid).
• Travel locally and regionally to customer sites as required by training.
