Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a Production Support role to ensure material inventories are accurate and ready for production.

You will make boxes for assigned lines and prep them for shipment after packing, while assisting in troubleshooting mechanical issues and maintaining a clean, safe work area. The ideal candidate follows SOPs, maintains detailed production records, and collaborates with maintenance and scheduling teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Job description

• Manage material inventory, ensuring that all supplies are readily available for production processes.
• Responsible for making boxes for assigned lines and preparing them for shipment once they are packed.
• Support team members in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to comply with safety standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality production output.
• manage the resin rail cars and bulk trucks per procedure. Keeps accurate records while working with the Production Scheduler as it relates to managing resin inventories.
• responsible for grinding clear or color scrap/material in the grinding room while keeping the grinding area clean and orderly in a safe manner.
• monitor and document key process parameters of all auxiliary equipment. Reporting any anomalies to maintenance leadership.
• monitor and change all auxiliary equipment filters and filter elements in accordance with schedule, as well as, on an “as needed basis”.

Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to assist in troubleshooting equipment issues.

• Strong attention to detail with ability to accurately monitor, record, and maintain production data.
