Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Minot, ND is seeking a customer-focused Sales Associate to greet customers, assess needs, and promote Scheels Visa. You will deliver personalized service, showcase products, and help achieve personal and store sales goals.

You’ll contribute to visual merchandising, assist with stock and training of new associates, and use a handheld scanner and computer to manage inventory. This full-time role offers ESOP benefits and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of sales experience preferred.
• Able to operate computer and handheld inventory scanner.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers on the sales floor with genuine courtesy and a smile.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assessing needs and guiding purchases, including Scheels Visa.
• Grow personal sales by meeting goals and following Scheels' sales process.
• Create a positive end-user experience based on purchased products.
• Maintain visual merchandising and assist with stock and inventory restocking.
• Demonstrate product usage and retrieve items from heights up to 6 ft.
• Attend product training and store meetings; assist in training new associates.
• Navigate a computer and handheld scanner; use programs like Microsoft Office, Google Email/Docs, and AS400.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
