Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Anchorage, AK is seeking a part‑time Sales Outfitter to provide counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise non-Firearms. You will greet customers, assess needs, recommend products, and help with in-store pickups and club programs.

Responsibilities include maintaining merchandise, staying knowledgeable on promotions, and assisting with seasonal floor moves, while delivering a legendary customer experience.

Qualifications

• Customer Service and Sales of Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms)
• GCA
• Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Identifies and evaluates customers’ needs and makes product recommendations.
• Promotes programs including CLUB membership, VOC and IN Store Pick up.
• Obtains the ability to demonstrate product to customers.
• Organizes and maintains Merchandise within the store for Sales at Gun Counter non-Firearms.
• Replenishes product on shelves per merchandising guidelines.
• Remains product “expert” through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintain pricing and signing.
• Assists with Seasonal Floor merchandise moves.
• Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
