Job summary

The Pennsylvania Game Commission is seeking a Hunter Education Schools Program Coordinator to support the Bureau of Information and Education. This role coordinates school-based hunter education programs, works with the Department of Education and schools, and trains teachers to deliver hunter education as an elective or within existing courses.

This position strengthens conservation knowledge and safe hunting practices across the Commonwealth.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in the development and implementation of conservation education programs.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate school-based hunter education programming across the state.
• Lead collaboration with the Department of Education to recruit, train, and certify teachers to deliver hunter education in public schools.
• Develop instructional materials, curricula, and guidance documents that align with agency standards for safety and instruction.
• Collect program data, analyze feedback, and recommend improvements to enhance outcomes.
