Job summary

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited private school for grades 5–12. As a Humanities Teacher, you’ll shape schedules, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues.

You will teach a wide range of humanities courses with curriculum and resources provided, mentoring students and partnering with families in a dynamic, student-centered environment. This is a part-time position with potential to grow with enrollment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives).
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences or social-emotional needs.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a student-centered environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Florida residents require level 2 background screening when applicable.

*We are specifically seeking an educator with a strong background in English Language Arts, including experience teaching literature, reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and analytical thinking. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills, develop confidence as writers, and foster a lifelong appreciation for reading and learning.

*This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time contingent upon student enrollment.

Pay Range
