Job summary

The University of Michigan seeks a Data Curation Specialist for Humanities and Social Sciences to advance the Library's work with faculty, students and staff. You will help manage, share and preserve research data and other scholarly content, with a focus on Humanities and Social Sciences, working closely with DBRRDS and librarian colleagues.

• Develop data management and sharing plans.
• Consult with faculty, staff, and students on scholarly communication needs.
• Provide training to librarians and researchers on managing and sharing scholarship and research data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary service contact for DBRRDS with Humanities and Social Sciences faculty, staff and students across UM campuses (Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint).
• Help researchers share their scholarship and data via the library's Deep Blue Documents and Deep Blue Data repositories.
• Coordinate and negotiate relationships and responsibilities across the Library and the University.
