Job summary

Davis Chicago seeks a full-time founding leadershipist to guide curriculum and culture at a premier Chicago-area school. The role reports to the Principal and requires a Master’s degree in education or a related field, with preference for an Illinois Educator License in social science and English and National Board Certification.

Applicants should have 3+ years of teaching, plus leadership experience (department, administration, or instructional leadership).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or related field is required.
• Illinois Professional Educator License in high school social science and English preferred.
• National Board Certification a major plus.
• 3+ years of successful teaching experience required.
• Some form of leadership experience is required; department, administration, or instructional leadership preferred.
• College-preparatory, independent, Jewish day or faith-based school experience is a plus.
• Being Jewish is not a requirement for this role.
