This Humane Enforcement Officer role focuses on responding to stray dog calls, investigations, and community education while ensuring daily canine care and shelter cleanliness.
The position requires weekend/holiday/night shifts and fitness for physically demanding work, including restraining animals and lifting. Previous law enforcement experience is a plus.

We're excited to welcome you as our next Humane Enforcement Officer (HEO). In this role you will be responding to requests for stray dog animal control and investigations into animal care in accordance with local and state laws. You will also provide daily care to dogs in our holding kennels. This includes providing meds, food, water, bedding, toys and treats. It also includes heavy duty cleaning - think poop...a LOT of poop.
