Beaufort County Council seeks a coordinator to lead countywide efforts addressing homelessness and housing insecurity, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. This role collaborates with community partners and operates under general supervision to develop work methods and sequences.
The position involves engaging partners, coordinating housing connections, supporting the PIT Count, managing HMIS data, and reporting performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness
The purpose of this position is to coordinate countywide response to homelessness and housing insecurity in Beaufort County in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
The essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment.
