Job summary

Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut seeks a Human Services Associate - ISE to coach participants with disabilities at their places of employment, helping them maintain jobs and gain independence. This regular full-time role is based in Bridgeport, CT.

You will provide coaching, observe participant progress, complete case-management documentation, and transport participants to worksites as needed. Benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in human services or related field preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Valid CT driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• First Aid and CPR training is required or provided after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, training, and support to participants to promote independence at their work sites.
• Observe and report participants' ability to engage in competitive employment and identify needs for accommodations.
• Complete required documentation in the case management database system.
• Provide transportation for participants to and from work sites as needed.

Salary Range: $17.25 To $17.25 Hourly

As a Human Services Associate - ISE, you would be assisting program participants with disabilities at their place of employment by helping them maintain their jobs and become more independent in the workplace.

Position Requirements:
