Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut is hiring a Human Services Associate to support participants with disabilities at their work sites and help them maintain employment. The role includes coaching, documenting progress, and helping participants stay independent in the workplace.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred), a valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 lbs. First Aid/CPR training is provided after hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in the human services or related field strongly desired.
• Satisfactory driving record and daily access to a vehicle for in-state travel.
• First Aid and CPR are required (training provided after hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, training, and support to participants to promote independence at their work sites.
• Observe and report participants’ ability to engage in competitive employment and identify needs for accommodations.
• Complete required documentation within the case management database system.
• Provide transportation for participants to and from work sites as needed.

As a Human Services Associate, you would be assisting program participants with disabilities at their place of employment by helping them maintain their jobs and become more independent in the workplace.
