Job summary

Kaleida Health's Human Resources Service Center is seeking a dedicated HRSC Specialist to provide Tier 1 support for payroll, benefits and other HR COEs. You will assist employees and leaders, guiding them through self-service resources and policies.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality service, escalating complex issues to Tier 2/3, and maintaining accuracy while working a hybrid schedule at Buffalo General Medical Center. Bachelor or Associate degree candidates considered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, business or related field required.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field preferred.
• 1 year HR-related experience required.
• 1 year customer-facing/service experience required.
• Proficiency with HR technology including HCM systems, Word and Excel.
• Strong written and oral communication; interpersonal and conflict management skills.

• Must be able to work a non-traditional schedule with multiple shifts.

Job Description

The Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) is an important centralized resource providing Tier 1 customer service support to our employees and leaders related to the following Centers of Excellence (COE): Payroll, Benefits, Integrated Absence, Employee Health and Safety, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, HRIS and Learning and Performance. The HRSC will serve as the "front Door" to enhance the employee experience with items such as navigating Employee Self Service resources, connecting with external service providers, understanding HR Policies and Procedures, and providing general assistance with basic day-to-day employee HR needs. The Human Resources Service Center Specialist (HRSC Specialist)) will be responsible for delivering exceptional Tier 1 customer service across a wide breadth of HR functional COEs to employees and leaders, acting as a liaison to COEs for Tier 2 and Tier 3 support escalation as needed to ensure items are addressed timely. The HRSC Specialist will work under the direction of a supervisor to ensure Tier 1 HR service delivery is consistent and of high quality.

Education And Credentials

Associate degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required. Bachelor's degree Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.

Experience

1 year of experience in Human Resources related field required. 1 year of experience in a customer facing and service related role required. Experience in using of HR technology including but not limited to HCM system, Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency, use of email, telephone and intranet required. Experience in Customer service driven, good written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and conflict management skills required. Must be organized and able to multi-task required. Must be able to work a non-traditional schedule to accommodate multiplies shifts. Example 7 am - 4 pm or 11 am - 7pm required.
