Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking a Human Resources Senior Project Manager in California to lead cross‑functional HR initiatives, partnering with senior leaders to deliver measurable business value and an improved employee experience.

You will manage large, long‑term HR projects, coordinate with vendors, and drive change management, ROI tracking, and performance metrics, all within a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in human resources project management.
• Experience managing large, complex projects impacting HR strategy and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manages activities of one or more large, mid to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
• Develops business plans, objectives and initiatives for the organization.
• Provides inputs to organizational objectives and policies and ensures delivery of results.
• Engages regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues.
• Manages and executes HR projects, collaborates with cross-functional HR teams and sets tactical and strategic priorities.
• Takes a lead role in implementing change management strategies for HR projects, and creates communication plans and materials to engage and inform employees and stakeholders.
• Implements benefits realization, satisfaction surveys, and metrics tracking to quantify HR project ROI and value delivery.
• Implements project management reporting tools, progress dashboards, and methodologies to gain visibility into HR project health and status.
• Works closely with third-party vendors to ensure contract terms and conditions are being met as well as managing the project schedule.

• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in human resources project management.
• Experience managing large, complex projects impacting HR strategy and business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-wide transformations with multiple workstreams and vendors.
• Proficiency with portfolio and reporting tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or Power BI.
• Experience leading change management, including communications, training, readiness, and adoption.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant education and experience.

Additional Information

• This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
