We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Human Resources Representative to join our team at our Wauwatosa, WI Store. This pivotal role is at the heart of our operations, where you will be instrumental in recruiting top talent, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring our staff have the support they need to succeed.

The Human Resources Representative provides HR support and assistance to store leadership through coaching and guidance on HR-related matters including staffing, workforce planning, training & development, retention, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, EEO, safety, HR policy, etc. The Store HR Representative partners closely with store leadership and the regional HR team to champion the HR goals and strategies by performing the following duties:

Note: THIS POSITION IS EQUAL TO A LOWER-LEVEL HR GENERALIST I/II or SR. HR GENERALIST. THIS POSITION IS ONSITE ONLY AND IS NOT A MANAGEMENT POSITION.

Our ideal candidate will possess the preferred experience:

  • 2 Years experience working as an HR Generalist, Sr. HR Generalist, HR Manager, or equivalent
  • 2 Years experience in Employee Relations and Investigations
  • 2 Years of Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems

What You'll be Doing:
  • Assist with staffing, interviewing, and selecting for leadership and non-leadership roles within the store, and manage the applicant tracking system and applications.
  • Oversee effective orientation, onboarding, and training to drive engagement and retention.
  • Champion engagement through initiatives like mTeam, mCulture, mPerformance, and other HR programs.
  • Ensure effective communication to all team members and engage leadership to communicate and follow up with staff.
  • Assist in reporting, analysis, and execution related to talent management, talent development, and total rewards processes.
  • Provide guidance to store leadership on career development resources, track progress of development plans, talent profiles, and training.
  • Consult with leadership on employee relations, dispute resolution, disciplinary actions, terminations, and EEO matters.
  • Assist with investigations and resolution of employee complaints or policy violations.
  • Support HR Market Managers with projects as needed.
  • This role may include other administrative duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Leadership presence, initiative, and ability to work independently.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • High energy, adaptability, and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to accommodate business needs.
