Pro-Play Games is seeking a Human Resources Representative to support HR operations across the store and events organization. This hybrid Miami-based role collaborates with the HR & Operations Manager to assist managers and employees, maintain records, and ensure HR processes are accurate, timely, and scalable.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and has at least two years of HR experience, with onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and HRIS proficiency.

Location and Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based in Miami, Florida. Candidates must currently reside in South Florida within reasonable commuting distance of our Miami location. The position requires two onsite workdays each week and allows three remote workdays. This is not a fully remote position, and relocation assistance is not available. Job Summary

The Human Resources Representative serves as a key member of the Pro-Play Games Human Resources team, supporting the day-to-day administration and coordination of HR operations across Pro-Play Games Storefront and PPG Event Management. Working closely with the HR & Operations Manager, the HR Representative helps coordinate department priorities, provides guidance and support to the Human Resources Associate, assists managers and employees with HR-related needs, and helps ensure HR processes are completed accurately, consistently, and within established timelines.

This position combines hands‑on HR administration with elevated departmental responsibility. The HR Representative is expected to independently manage routine HR matters, recognize when an issue requires escalation, support the development of the HR Associate, and help maintain a responsive and organized Human Resources function.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

Coordinate day-to-day HR priorities in partnership with the HR & Operations Manager.

Monitor HR support requests and assist with maintaining established response timelines.

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes and ensure required steps are completed accurately and on time.

Review HR documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Maintain confidential employee records and documentation.

Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable employment requirements.

Escalate sensitive, complex, or higher-risk matters to the HR & Operations Manager when appropriate.

Team Support & Development

Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Human Resources Associate.

Assist with training and onboarding new HR team members.

Review administrative work and documentation when appropriate.

Help establish clear priorities and follow-up expectations within the department.

Identify opportunities to improve department organization and efficiency.

Assist with the development and maintenance of HR SOPs, guides, templates, and training materials.

Employee & Manager Support

Serve as a resource for employees regarding routine HR questions, policies, procedures, and processes.

Support managers with coaching documentation, corrective‑action processes, and other employee-related documentation.

Assist with employee relations matters, including information gathering, documentation, and follow-up under the direction of the HR & Operations Manager.

Coordinate payroll corrections, timecard investigations, and related employee inquiries.

Support benefits administration and employee communications.

Recognize matters requiring additional review and escalate appropriately.

Recruitment & Onboarding

Support the recruitment process from candidate review through onboarding.

Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications.

Participate in candidate pre‑screens and interviews as assigned.

Provide input during the candidate selection process.

Monitor hiring pipelines and follow up on outstanding recruiting actions.

Coordinate onboarding readiness with hiring managers.

Ensure new-hire documentation and system requirements are completed within established timelines.

HR Systems & Administration

Work within HR and operational systems including ADP Workforce Now, Monday.com, Slack, and Google Workspace.

Perform routine HR audits and identify missing or inconsistent documentation.

Monitor HR deadlines and required follow-ups.

Assist with department reporting and tracking.

Maintain organized and accurate HR records across approved company systems.

Process Improvement

Identify recurring issues, administrative bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

Recommend improvements to HR processes and employee experiences.

Assist with developing new workflows, forms, templates, and documentation.

Participate in department projects and implementation of new HR initiatives.

Help ensure established HR processes remain practical, consistent, and scalable as the organization grows.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional Human Resources experience.
