The Role

Seeking a full-time Human Resources Payroll Project Specialist that will report to the Head of HRIS and Operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Project manage projects in payroll, HR, and eTime, coordinating with internal customers and vendors as needed.
  2. Support the payroll team as processing backup as needed.
  3. Manage company programs and policies in the HR and Payroll areas.
  4. Design, develop, and run reports utilizing the reporting tool.
  5. Run reports, analyze, and manipulate data using advanced skills like lookups, formulas, and visualizations.
  6. Analyze report data and present findings or recommended improvements.
  7. Conduct software testing for upgrades and maintenance changes within HR Systems.
  8. Support operating companies with issues related to HR technology.
  9. Support audits related to HR.
  10. Participate as needed in strategic initiatives.
  11. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and work with management to implement changes that optimize systems, integrations, and workflows while improving overall user experience.
  12. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including integration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.
  13. Serve as a subject matter expert offering insights and solutions for both HR teams and vendors.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working in HR and Payroll Operations, HRIS, or other HR roles.
  • Experience with Payroll processing, HR Transactions, and Time and Attendance.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in HR analytics and Reporting.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Knowledge of Labor laws.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical problem-solving mindset.
