Job summary

CBX Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support business needs and lead HR initiatives across multiple states. You will partner with management to implement HR strategies, ensure legal compliance, and drive a strong people-first culture.

The role emphasizes LOA management, onboarding, risk reduction, and collaboration with senior leadership to advance CBX as an employer of choice in the security integration industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 5-7 years of HR leadership experience.
  • Mergers & acquisition experience is a plus.
  • Ability to be in office up to 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and own the Leave of Absence process, including FMLA, STD and LTD claims and related decisions.
  • Manage the company-wide HR ticket system for timely responses.
  • Assist workers' compensation and injury reporting processes with claims reviews and third-party cooperation.
  • Lead onboarding for new hires, including background checks and E-Verify.
  • Partner with payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition leaders on HR initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Senior Director in acquisition-related projects pre- and post-close.
  • Develop and implement HR policies compliant with laws and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR trends and developments.
  • Perform other HR duties and projects as assigned.

The HR Manager is responsible for supporting business needs and ensuring the proper implementation of company HR strategies and objectives. The HR Manager acts as a liaison between management and employees, providing guidance on HR-related matters and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role partners strategically with the Senior Director, Human Resources to execute projects across various HR functions, serving as lead project manager for these initiatives. The HR Manager will partner with local leaders in multi-state locations throughout the United States to ensure compliance and reduce risk to the organization while promoting CBX as the employer of choice in our industry.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee and own the Leave of Absence process, including FMLA, STD and LTD claims and approval processes and partner with other HR Managers on employment-related LOA decisions
  • Manage the company-wide HR ticket system to ensure team responses' accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
  • Assist in worker's compensation and injury reporting process, including manager training, claims reviews, and partnering with third-party insurance on claims resolutions
  • Responsible for managing and delegating the onboarding process for all new hires, including background checks, E-Verify process, and motor vehicle reports
  • Partner strategically with other HR functional leaders around payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Human Resources in acquisition-related projects pre- and post-close, including review of due diligence materials, onboarding newly acquired employees, and delegating time-sensitive HR-related tasks to team members
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practices
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends and developments
  • Other HR duties and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (preferred)
  • At least 5-7 years of HR leadership experience
  • Mergers & acquisition experience is a plus
  • Ability to be in office up to 4 days per week

  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
