Job summary

Oxera Consulting LLP is seeking an experienced Part-Time HR Manager or Officer to support the Senior HR Manager, with a focus on employee relations across Europe and payroll processes. The role offers a hybrid working model and 22.5 hours per week.

We are looking for someone who can build credibility quickly, handle multiple jurisdictions, and engage with managers and staff. Start date no later than October 2026, with European offices and a collaborative, flexible culture.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in a broad HR generalist or HR management role
• A strong employee relations background, with the confidence to advise and manage cases independently and an understanding of European employment considerations
• Experience managing payroll, ideally across multiple countries
• Strong organisational skills with a capability to juggle multiple priorities and to work independently
• Comfort with change, ambiguity, and being part a function that is actively evolving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and motivation to build relationships
• Experience managing or mentoring others within an HR or payroll function
• Strong verbal and written English language skills, additional European languages a benefit

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior HR Manager on employee relations (ER) matters across multiple European jurisdictions, from routine queries through to more complex cases
• Line managing two payroll administrators (job share), providing day-to-day support, direction, and quality oversight
• Managing payroll and benefit processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting ongoing integration and process improvement
• Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Act as a trusted, knowledgeable point of contact for employees and managers with HR queries
