Are you an experienced HR professional passionate about people and adept at navigating complex environments? If so, we're seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to join our client's dynamic industrial manufacturing operation.

What You'll Do:

As an individual contributor and strategic partner to site leadership, you'll focus on building a positive and productive environment. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Visible Leadership: Regularly build rapport and understand associates' needs.
  • Labor Relations Expertise: Lead site efforts in managing union relationships, including contract negotiations, grievance handling, and interpreting collective bargaining agreements.
  • Talent Management: Oversee all site recruiting, hiring, and onboarding, ensuring a robust talent pipeline. Drive initiatives in employee relations, talent development, succession planning, and performance management for all employees.
  • Strategic HR Partner: Provide expert counsel and coaching to leaders on change management, leadership, and HR processes.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all employment/labor laws and act as the primary lead for Workers' Compensation claims, collaborating with EH&S.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of HR experience, in a unionized industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong labor relations background, including collective bargaining agreement administration and negotiation.
  • Comfort working in an industrial/underground mine environment.
  • Broad knowledge of HR practices: talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
