Job summary

Central Nevada Gold Corp. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR and office administration for the Mule Canyon mine site and corporate office.

You will partner with leadership on recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, payroll, and compliance while establishing scalable HR processes for growth. The role also oversees administrative services, facilities, travel, and executive support, ensuring a safe, confidential, and efficient workplace.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Administer compensation, benefits, HRIS, payroll, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and policies.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, handbooks, and documentation.
  • Coordinate training, leadership development, and mandatory compliance programs.
  • Prepare HR metrics and support succession planning.
  • Oversee site and corporate office administration and facilities.
  • Coordinate travel, meetings, and executive support as needed.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, high-performing workplace culture.

Job description

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the Company's human resources and office administration functions for the Mule Canyon mine site and corporate office. This position serves as a strategic business partner to leadership while overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, HR compliance, payroll coordination, and organizational development.

In addition to leading the human resources function, the role is responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the site office, including administrative services, facilities coordination, office vendors, travel arrangements, and executive support. The successful candidate will establish scalable HR and administrative processes that support the Company's continued growth while fostering a positive, collaborative, and high‑performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of talent acquisition, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention.
  • Partner with leadership on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and workforce planning.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, HRIS, payroll coordination, leave administration, and employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate employee training, orientation, leadership development, and mandatory compliance programs.
  • Prepare HR metrics and reports while supporting workforce planning and succession initiatives.
  • Oversee office administration, including management of office facilities, supplies, equipment, vendors, and administrative services.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, company meetings, and corporate events, while providing administrative support to site leadership as required.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture that supports the Company's values, operational goals, and continued growth.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in human resources, with experience supporting multiple HR functions.
  • Experience in mining, construction, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or other operational environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR compliance, payroll coordination, and performance management.
  • Experience managing office administration, facilities, vendors, travel coordination, and administrative support functions is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the CEO and works cross-functionally with geology, engineering, operations, and corporate teams.
