Addison Group is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify an experienced HR Manager to lead all day-to-day HR functions at a production facility of about 180 employees. This hands-on, on-site role serves as the primary HR resource, partnering with plant leadership to support employee relations, recruiting, safety, benefits, and engagement, while mentoring the HR Assistant.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years HR Generalist/HR Management in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience as the primary HR resource for a plant or production facility.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA compliance.
• Experience with recruiting, benefits, performance management, and HR operations.
• Ability to mentor and develop HR staff and partner with plant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site HR leader for ~180 employees.
• Manage day-to-day employee relations, investigations, coaching, conflict resolution, and associate support.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting for salaried and non-exempt positions.
• Mentor and develop the HR Assistant while guiding onboarding and daily HR operations.
• Administer benefits, leave administration, performance management, policy interpretation, and compliance with laws.
• Support payroll reconciliation and maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.
• Conduct new hire orientations and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, E-Verify, and other regulations.
• Participate in leadership meetings and collaborate with department managers on workforce planning.

Overview:

Addison Group is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify an experienced HR Manager to lead all day-to-day Human Resources functions for a production facility with approximately 180 employees. This is a true HR Generalist role serving as the primary HR resource on-site while partnering closely with plant leadership to support employee relations, recruiting, compliance, performance management, safety initiatives, benefits administration, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the on-site HR leader supporting approximately 180 manufacturing employees while partnering with plant leadership.
• Manage day-to-day employee relations, investigations, coaching, conflict resolution, and associate support.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting for salaried and non-exempt positions while supporting retention initiatives.
• Mentor and develop the HR Assistant while providing guidance on onboarding and daily HR operations.
• Administer benefits, leave administration, performance management, policy interpretation, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Support payroll reconciliation and maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.
• Conduct new hire orientations and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, E-Verify, and other employment regulations.
• Participate in leadership meetings and collaborate with department managers to support workforce planning and operational goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies, and employee programs while supporting a positive plant culture.

What They're Looking For:

• 5+ years of Human Resources Generalist or HR Management experience.
• Manufacturing or warehouse environment experience preferred.
• Experience serving as the primary HR resource for a plant or production facility.
• Strong employee relations experience, including workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
• Experience with recruiting, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and HR operations.
• Ability to mentor and develop an HR Assistant.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, and other compliance regulations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with a hands‑on leadership style.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
