Job summary

RiseMe is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee relations, recruitment and safety. Policies will be developed to comply with company HR policies and laws.

The role includes recruiting for exempt and non-exempt staff, new hire orientation, time & attendance, payroll changes, benefits administration, surveys, HRIS reporting, terminations, OSHA records, safety program design, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years work experience in the Human Resource area.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment activities for exempt and non-exempt team members including advertising, screening, background checks, physical and drug screening.
  • New hire orientation including internal communications with team members and paperwork processing.
  • Weekly review of time and attendance, disciplinary action and payroll changes.
  • Benefits administration including communication of benefits and claim resolution; guidance on eligibility and coverage.
  • Prepare and complete various surveys including annual compensation, benefits, etc.
  • Participate in meetings and production meetings; address questions and resolve issues.
  • Prepare reports via HRIS system by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Handle termination processes including notifications, exit interviews and documentation.
  • Maintain OSHA record-keeping; contribute to safety programs.

Description

Responsible for employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee relations, recruitment and safety. Recommends and develops policies and implements approved programs and policies in accordance with company HR policies and governmental laws and regulations.

Requirements
  • Recruitment activities for both exempt and non-exempt team member including advertising, screening, background checks, physical and drug screening. Interview and provide feedback to hiring manager.
  • New hire orientation including communication internally with team members, providing and obtaining necessary paperwork.
  • Responsible for weekly review of time and attendance, disciplinary action and payroll changes.
  • Responsible for benefits administration including communication of benefits and claim resolution. Provide guidance to team members on a secondary basis for team member questions regarding benefit eligibility and coverage. Meet with team members for benefit enrollment providing and obtaining necessary paperwork.
  • Prepare and complete various surveys including annual compensation, benefits, etc.
  • Participate in meetings as necessary. Attend daily Production meeting within the manufacturing organization. Respond to questions and resolve any issues within these meetings.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information as needed and requested by managers via HRIS system.
  • Responsible for termination process for team members to include notification internally; exit interview and appropriate documentation necessary to terminate them from the internal and external systems.
  • Responsible for OSHA record keeping, a member of the safety committee and assist in the design and development and implementation of safety programs.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal and professional networks.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years work experience in the Human Resource area.
