The ideal candidate will bring strong multi-state HR experience, direct union/labor relations exposure, and hands-on knowledge of California employment practices. • Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance concerns

  • Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, documentation, and HR best practices
  • Support onboarding, organizational changes, employee communication, and other day-to-day HR initiatives
  • Travel approximately 20% to support other locations as needed

  • Direct experience supporting employees in a unionized environment
  • Hands-on experience with grievances, collective bargaining agreement interpretation, and communication with union representatives or stewards

  • Experience supporting multiple locations or business units
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience
  • Hands-on recruiting experience, including managing multiple open requisitions
  • Ability to independently assess HR issues, provide recommendations, and drive matters through resolution
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work directly with employees, managers, senior leaders, and union representatives
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment with limited day-to-day direction
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20%
