Hy-Vee Inc. in West Des Moines is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support the corporate HR team with daily administrative tasks, onboarding, and accurate employee files.

General Function: The Human Resources Intern provides assistance with and facilitates the human resources process in the corporate office in West Des Moines. Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service to employees. Will work with current employees to ensuring plans are administered in accordance with company, federal, and state regulations. This role provides administrative support to human resources function as needed including record keeping and file maintenance.

This position requires strong computer and analytical skills. The person must also have strong verbal and written communication skills and be extremely detailed oriented. The person must be well organized and capable of multi-tasking simultaneously.
Must be physically able to perform light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, and color vision, and field of vision. Must be able to perform the following physical activities:
This position frequently involves a fast work pace in an office setting. Must be able to handle multiple jobs/situations every day.
