Job summary

Jobtailor in New York City is seeking a Graduate HR/People intern to evaluate current HR processes, assist with hiring, onboarding and offboarding, and help redesign workflows for scalability.

You will work with the recruitment platform, explore AI-enabled workflows, and deliver practical resources for the global People team during a summer program from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027; eligibility includes US work authorization and up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

  • Graduate student with significant HR/People experience
  • Experience building and scaling HR processes, playbooks, systems, or tools
  • Strong knowledge of the employee lifecycle, particularly hiring, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Comfort with HR technology and AI-enabled workflows
  • Experience with HR/recruiting platforms is a plus
  • Strong judgment and communication skills
  • Highly organized and independent across teams and cultures
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Requirements
  • Graduate student with significant prior HR/People experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth organization
  • Experience building and scaling HR processes, playbooks, systems, or tools
  • Strong knowledge of the employee lifecycle, particularly hiring, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Comfort with HR technology and AI-enabled workflows
  • Experience with HR/recruiting platforms is a plus
  • Strong judgment and communication skills
  • Highly organized and comfortable working independently across teams, seniority levels, and cultures
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization for the 2027 year required
  • Available for the program from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027
  • Able to work up to 40 hours per week
