Position Description
Provide operational, analytical, and systems support to HumanResources, with responsibility for HRIS administration, employeedata management, reporting, process improvement, and HR technologyinitiatives. Serve as a key resource for maintaining accurateemployee information, developing HR reports and analytics,supporting institutional and regulatory reporting, and improving HRprocesses and systems.
Serve as the HR lead for the transition from Ellucian Colleague toWorkday, representing Human Resources throughout planning, datamigration, testing, process design, implementation, training, andpost-launch support. Collaborate closely with HR, Payroll,Information Technology, Institutional Research, vendors, and othercampus partners to support effective HR operations, data integrity,and the successful use of HR technology.
This position is required to work on-site with the possibility ofhybrid after 3months of employment
Position Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR resource for the administration,maintenance, and effective use of HR systems, including Colleague,CROA, NEOED, Workday, and other applicable platforms.
- Serve as the HR lead for the transition from Ellucian Colleagueto Workday, representing Human Resources throughout planning,configuration, data migration, testing, process design,implementation, training, and post-launch support.
- Maintain accurate and complete employee data through dataentry, audits, corrections, updates, file maintenance, and ongoingreview. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and support strongdata governance practices.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze recurring and ad hoc HR reportsto support workforce planning, audits, institutional reporting,leadership requests, and other business needs.
- Coordinate and prepare HR data submissions for annual,institutional, regulatory, and compliance reporting, includingsurveys and other required submissions.
- Evaluate HR processes and system functionality and recommendimprovements that increase efficiency, accuracy, consistency, andservice delivery.
- Support and coordinate system enhancements, upgrades,integrations, and new functionality through requirements gathering,testing, validation, issue resolution, and implementationsupport.
- Develop and maintain HR process documentation, businessrequirements, process flows, user guides, standard operatingprocedures, and other departmental resources.
- Support the maintenance, migration, retention, and electronicstorage of employee records while ensuring confidentiality,accuracy, and compliance with applicable policies andrequirements.
- Serve as a liaison between Human Resources and Payroll,Information Technology, Institutional Research, vendors, and otherinternal and external partners on HR data, systems, reporting, andprocess needs.
- Support HR initiatives through project planning, coordination,communication, testing, implementation, and follow-upactivities.
- Assist HR colleagues and campus stakeholders with HR data,reporting, systems, and operational needs, while demonstratingfairness, integrity, confidentiality, and alignment with theUniversity's mission and values.
- Perform other related duties and special projects asassigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of experience working in the Higher Educationfield.
- Minimum two years of experience in Human Resources, HRoperations, HRIS administration, employee data management,reporting, or a related area.
- Experience working with an HRIS or comparable enterprisesystem, including employee data maintenance, reporting, audits,data validation, and records management.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education andrelevant experience.
- Working knowledge of Human Resources practices, employmentlaws, regulatory requirements, and employee dataconfidentiality.
- Experience collaborating with Payroll and othercross-functional partners.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, andproblem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and theability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively whileexercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to support the Christian values and mission of theUniversity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Ellucian Colleague and/or Workday.
- Experience supporting an HRIS implementation, system migration,upgrade, or other HR technology initiative.
- Experience developing HR reports, process documentation, userguides, training materials, or standard operating procedures.

- Knowledge of HRIS platforms, reporting, auditing, recordsmanagement, and HR systems processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and projectcoordination skills, with excellent attention to detail and dataaccuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including theability to explain HR systems, processes, and data clearly todiverse audiences.
- Ability to support system implementations, testing, datamigration, process improvement, documentation, and trainingactivities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with HR,Payroll, Information Technology, Institutional Research, vendors,and other stakeholders while managing multiple priorities andmaintaining confidentiality.
