Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently seeking an HR Business Partner Manager 2 to provide leadership to a team of HR Business Partners. This role will be responsible for human capital strategy in support of functional leaders, including senior leaders through the VP/Executive Leadership Team level. The position will be located in Melbourne, FL and will require occasional travel to support a geographically dispersed team and client groups.
This role has key responsibilities supporting leadership in Business Management, Strategy & Growth, and Security acting as a strategic partner and consultant to position the organizations to meet long-term objectives. The successful candidate must have strong business acumen, leadership engagement, and high levels of emotional intelligence.
The HR Manager will partner with the HR Director to develop and execute talent strategies that support sector and enterprise goals, providing HR guidance and counsel to leaders and managers regarding succession planning and talent development, reward and recognition, compensation, organization effectiveness, performance management, staffing, and employee relations.

Specific duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Establish a solid understanding of the business, build, and expand relationships with client leadership teams, and create effective partnerships
Lead client leaders through processes focused on strong succession planning and strategic leadership movement
Provide day-to-day people leadership of the team and create an environment that accelerates the development of HR talent
Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization and develop solutions in partnership with HRBPs
Provide business insight through data analytics and benchmarking to develop solutions to current business issues
Leverage and partner with HR colleagues across other functions, programs, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to support talent strategies
Represent the HR function with ELT members as needed in partnership with or in place of the Functions HR Director.
This position has significant leadership contact and requires a candidate with strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to perform in an environment of ambiguity and continuous change. The incumbent must have strong communication and executive presence.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and a minimum of 8 years of applicable and progressive experience in HR OR Master’s degree in HR or related field and a minimum of 6 years of applicable and progressive experience in HR
Solid track record in overall HR business roles, project management, and acting as a trusted HR advisor
Demonstrated success in the application of HR principles, concepts, policies, and practice
Proven ability to influence for impact at all levels and develop an internal network to gain support for best HR practices
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with a matrix or homeroom environment
Demonstrated experience supporting and influencing senior executives
Salary Range: $111,700 - $167,500
