The City of McAllen is seeking an HR Generalist II to perform a broad range of human resources tasks to keep the HR department operating smoothly and efficiently. This role acts as the primary point of contact for employee leave, including FMLA, military leave, Paid Parental Leave and sick leave administration.
The position participates in benefits administration and supports ongoing HR processes to deliver value to the City’s workforce and residents.
The purpose of this position is to undertake a wide range of HR tasks with the goal of ensuring the HR department's operations run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the City as a whole. The HR Generalist II acts as the main point of contact for employee leave which includes, but is not limited to, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Military Leave, Paid Parental Leave and Contribution of Sick Leave.
