Job summary

Miller Electric, an ITW company, is seeking an HR Generalist to support the Precision Welding Solutions Division. You will lead day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, engagement, and organizational development to shape the employee experience.

You will partner with managers, support talent acquisition, coordinate onboarding, and help drive wellness programs and policy administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing environments.

Are you an experienced Human Resources professional who thrives on building relationships, supporting employee growth, and driving impactful programs?

Miller Electric, an ITW company, is seeking to add an HR Generalist to our Precision Welding Solutions Division.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the employee experience and culture across the division by leading day-to-day HR operations that matter most. You’ll manage core HR functions such as employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and organizational development.

What you will do and impact

Employee Relations & Development:

• Coach and counsel managers and employees on topics such as performance management, employee engagement, and career development.
• Facilitate training, including compliance, professional development, and conflict resolution.
• Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all employees.
• Assess employee engagement and develop action plans to support a positive workplace culture.

Wellness Program Leadership:

• Own and manage the division’s wellness program, coordinating initiatives and events that support physical, mental, and financial well-being.

HR Policy, Administration & Projects

• Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures.
• Lead or support special HR initiatives such as talent reviews, change management efforts, and engagement strategies.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Lead recruitment efforts by partnering with managers and the internal Talent Acquisition team.

What you need to be successful in this role

• Proven HR generalist experience with an emphasis on manufacturing support, workforce development, or similar environments.
• Strong relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
