Human Resources Generalist - North Central Texas

We seek a Human Resources Generalist to support our HR, Finance, and Compliance teams. The role involves building relationships across the organization to provide value-added HR services, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, leave administration, benefits, training, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have HR or labor law experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This position primarily supports our operations in North Central Texas (Collin, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, and Wise counties). Starting October 1, 2025, Career TEAM will have approximately 12 offices in this region. Initially, the role is remote, with potential for hybrid or in-office work later.

Your Impact on Career TEAM's Success
  • Understand the HR department and company strategies and objectives.
  • Support HR operations in North Central Texas counties.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Partner with leaders to assess talent needs, succession planning, and training.
  • Develop recruitment strategies using various channels.
  • Administer benefits plans, including enrollment and COBRA.
  • Conduct onboarding and organize training initiatives.
  • Support employees on HR topics, resolving issues with confidentiality.
  • Promote HR programs to foster an efficient workplace.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality during investigations and employee relations issues.
  • Organize and report on performance reviews.
  • Maintain employee records securely.
  • Participate in agency committees and report updates.
  • Serve as a liaison for employee benefits, leave, and culture.
  • Approach tasks with a proactive mindset.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of HR experience.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle personnel matters tactfully.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the specified counties and occasionally elsewhere.
