Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you will contribute across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and employee relations to benefits, compliance, and HR systems. You will partner with leaders and employees to provide practical guidance, improve people management practices, and ensure consistent application of HR policies. By analyzing workforce data and coordinating strategic projects, you will help inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement. This role combines hands‑on operational responsibilities with opportunities to contribute to broader organizational initiatives. It is ideal for an adaptable HR professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and is motivated by work that supports employee well‑being and meaningful healthcare services. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with flexibility to work remotely and visit facilities as needed.

Accountabilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and hands‑on support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, leave administration, benefits, compensation, compliance, HR information systems, and talent initiatives.
  • Support daily HR operations across assigned markets, developing an understanding of workforce needs, business priorities, and organizational objectives.
  • Partner with managers and leadership teams to address employee concerns, provide HR guidance, deliver training, and strengthen people management practices.
  • Build strong relationships throughout the organization, serving as a responsive and credible resource for employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR systems through data entry, auditing, validation, and ongoing record maintenance.
  • Administer leave programs, benefits processes, onboarding activities, and other compliance‑related requirements in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, employment eligibility verification through Form I‑9, orientation, employee documentation, timekeeping setup, and other employee experience initiatives.
  • Analyze HR data and prepare routine and ad hoc reports that support workforce planning, operational effectiveness, and informed management decisions.
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects by coordinating stakeholders, identifying priorities, implementing solutions, measuring outcomes, and recommending process improvements.
  • Develop communications, presentations, and reports that explain HR initiatives, project results, and organizational updates clearly and effectively.
  • Support employee engagement activities, events, and culture‑building initiatives, using employee feedback and data to improve participation and effectiveness.
  • Adapt to changing business needs, manage competing priorities, and maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and service.
  • Follow applicable privacy and information security requirements when handling protected health information, including HIPAA‑related procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of progressive human resources experience.
  • Experience working in small to midsize organizations and/or healthcare environments is highly preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • SHRM‑CP or PHR certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience advising managers and leaders, with strong business acumen and an understanding of how HR contributes to organizational performance.
  • The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and take a practical, solutions‑oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, active listening, and writing skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • A customer‑focused mindset and the ability to prioritize competing demands while delivering accurate, timely results in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience supporting 24/7 operations, multiple shifts, and workforce growth across existing and new markets.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful workplace and building effective relationships across diverse teams.
  • Strong adaptability and initiative, including the ability to identify process improvements and support organizational change.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems and related applications, including employee data management and reporting.
  • The ability to work a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, with flexibility to visit facilities as needed.
Benefits
  • Annual salary of $70,000–$90,000.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with remote flexibility and on‑site facility visits as needed.
  • Subsidized health insurance coverage for employees, spouses, and dependents.
  • Employer‑paid basic life insurance equal to one times annual salary, up to $100,000.
  • Employer‑paid Employee Assistance Program.
  • Voluntary dental and vision insurance.
  • Optional short‑term disability, supplemental life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D), critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance.
