Job summary

ACES (Autism Comprehensive Educational Services) is seeking an HR Generalist to elevate our employee experience by delivering clear, fair HR processes and policies across assigned locations. This role acts as a POD leader, partnering with organizational leaders to anticipate needs and deliver integrated solutions.

You will support onboarding, retention, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and ensure compliance with FMLA, I-9, FLSA.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in HR or related role (HR Assistant/Coordinator)
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to tailor to audiences
• Problem-solving and critical thinking, with strong empathy and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Supports other ACES departments with HR guidance across onboarding, retention, offboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits
• Leads an assigned group of HR staff to support a specific area of the business
• Acts as liaison with Recruiting, Training, L&D and Culture teams to provide HR advisory
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws (FMLA, I-9, FLSA) and company policies

Pay Rate: $25-$32 an hour, depending on experienceJob Type: Full Time, RemoteJob Mission: The mission of the HR Generalist at ACES is to elevate the standards in the treatment of Autism by creating the best working environment for our employees through clear, streamlined and fair HR processes, policies and procedures.Job Summary: The HR Generalist is responsible for consulting with and advising organizational leaders and employees on HR-related subjects. They act as the POD leader for a specific group of assigned locations, directing and overseeing the work of their direct reports. The Generalist anticipates employee, leader, stakeholder and related organizational needs, and they work across the HR function to deliver integrated solutions. Works with assigned leadership to adapt and apply HR initiatives and programs in a manner that supports the local business needs.
