Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting employee lifecycle activities and delivering high-quality HR services across the Company. This position is responsible for talent acquisition coordination, onboarding and offboarding, HR operations, employee relations, compliance, HRIS administration, talent management programs, and employee experience initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, service-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and partners effectively across functions to enhance operational excellence, compliance, and the employee experience.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, applicant tracking, offer preparation, and background checks
  • Partner with hiring managers to deliver a seamless and positive recruitment experience
  • Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation, employment documentation, system access coordination, employee changes, and separation activities
  • Maintain accurate employee lifecycle records, including recruitment, onboarding, personnel files, and HRIS data, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions, including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, leaves of absence, and terminations
  • Administer employment verifications, unemployment claims, and other HR operational processes
  • Support leave administration, workplace investigations, and the interpretation and application of HR policies
  • Partner with payroll on the entry of employee compensation, status, and organizational changes to support accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Administer employee benefit enrollments and plan changes, and respond to benefits-related inquiries
  • Coordinate companywide compliance training, monitor completion status, and maintain accurate training records
  • Assist with HR audits, regulatory reporting, compliance initiatives, and documentation requests
  • Support talent management programs, including performance management, talent reviews, career development, and related initiatives
  • Generate HR reports, organizational charts, and workforce data to support business and HR decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance operational efficiency and the employee experience
  • Participate in HR initiatives, organizational change efforts, special projects, and continuous improvement activities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration required, or a related area degree preferred, with 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience as a generalist, of experience in the life sciences industry or an equivalent combination of academic and industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, administration, performance management, talent management, and benefits

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and systems; experience with applicant tracking, payroll, learning management, and performance management systems preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and business information
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
  • Experience supporting organizational change initiatives, process improvements, and HR-related projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical Demands:

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $113,000 per year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and years of experience within the job and the industry, education, and skills and certifications.

Other Compensation

The hired candidate will be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus and an equity award, subject to the terms of the applicable employment agreement, plan documents, and Company policies.
