Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking an entry-level HR Coordinator to support HR operations and drive smooth processes. You will assist with programs, payroll reviews, travel planning, and document management, collaborating with HR teams to maintain a positive work environment.

The role emphasizes Excel expertise, HR policy knowledge, and effective communication. Spanish skills and experience with Kronos/SuccessFactors are a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc).
  • Knowledge of common HR policies and employment regulations
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish preferred
  • Experience with Kronos and SuccessFactors preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists HR function by coordinating and supporting HR processes and programs.
  • Supports defined functional areas within HR in all areas of administrative services and special projects as needed.
  • Research confidential employee data and runs reports as needed.
  • Codes invoices and processes for payment as required for defined areas of support.
  • Provides basic administrative support, i.e., maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, auditing expense reports, ordering supplies/catering, answering phones, opening & distributing mail, drafting communications and presentations, etc.
  • Maintains document control of forms, policies, and procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate HR-related events.
  • Maintain facility organization charts and employee directory.
  • Review payroll/timekeeping processes.
  • Process forms and maintain records, including paper and electronic HR files, unemployment claims, employee service rewards, and other documents.
  • Provide first line of support for HR systems and processes.
  • Answer or refer employees to available resources for HR policy-related questions.
  • Receive, distribute, and complete Department of Labor unemployment-related documents.
  • Perform other duties as needed

What We Need

The HR Coordinator is an entry-level contributor that supports the human resources department by assisting with various administrative tasks and processes. What You’ll Do

What You Have
